Injustice 2 Confirms Poison Ivy's Addition Via Gameplay Trailer

NetherRealm Studios continues to excite its Injustice 2 fans with brand new released trailers for the upcoming superhero action game. The latest released trailer highlights the cunning supervillain Poison Ivy and her combat abilities. Previously, the character has been seen as part of the collaborative trailer alongside Catwoman, Black Canary and Cheetah. With Poison Ivy's own gameplay trailer finally released, fans were able to see her capabilities in the game.

Dr. Pamela, also known as Poison Ivy, was once a ground-breaking, thorough botanical biochemist bearing a single goal of making the world safe for plant life to grow. She was always considered as an interesting character in the DC Universe. While Poison Ivy was often depicted as a villain, her real desire is only a safe world for plants even if that means eliminating all human lives.

Injustice 2's combat system is well polished at this point since NetherRealm Studios puts its effort on improving it. As the game's pool of characters continues to expand, the balance also becomes pretty difficult to maintain. However, most of the fans trust the developer, which results to a more hyped scenario, as Attack of the Fanboy reported.

The narrative of the game involves the typical DC characters of alternate universes and evil versions of several favorite DC superheroes. However, Injustice 2 will be set within the alternate and dysfunctional universe that was featured in the first game title. The first installment offers a deep and engaging storyline. As a result, players are expecting that the sequel would do the same.

As previously known, the sequel will take place after the events in the first game. Here, Batman is trying to put things back together. However, a new group of villains arrived to make things even more complicated. Overall, it is expected that Injustice 2 would deliver a deeper experience to its dedicated players.

Injustice 2 will available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 16.
