Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Continuum DLC Adds Rust Remake Map

As of today, over 100 multiplayer maps were already featured on the Call of Duty series. However, most of them were not equally developed. Some of these maps out-performed other ones particularly; those that players are just having fun. Apparently, the fan-favorite Rust map from Modern Warfare 2 fits that type of group. Players who enjoyed playing the chaotic multiplayer map should be pleased since the map's remake called Excess has been made available for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

The second DLC pack for the game entitled Continuum is now live on PlayStation 4, where it features the Rust remake map including three brand new multiplayer maps. Game Rant reported that the Excess map is almost similar to Rust especially in general layout. However, it visually differs a bit from the desert oil yard of Rust. Excess is more focused on the new game's futuristic setting as a sprawling city.

On the other hand, the other three maps feature interesting themes as well. The first map, Archive, is set in a futuristic art gallery. The next map is called Scrap that appears to be set on the moon and lastly, Turista is described as a high-tech resort. All of these maps have their unique style that separates them from each other, although Scrap might be the most interesting among the three. The report says that it applies gravity-shifting pads enabling players to roam across the map upside down.

Aside from these new map additions, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Continuum DLC also features a new Zombies map. The new map is called Shaolin Shuffle, which will introduce yet another celebrity. The 70's movie star Pam Grier will be arriving at the game where she wields a samurai sword to slay the hordes of Zombies. Furthermore, the Shaolin Shuffle map focuses more on melee attacks compared to other present Call of Duty maps.

Overall, bringing back the Rust map might revive the interest of the fans, since it was reported that the game was underperforming compared to the other games of the series. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is available to play on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
