Nintendo Dishes Out Details About Upcoming Zelda: Breath Of The Wild DLC

Fans of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been hoping to get their hands on the game's first ever DLC; and finally, it's coming. The first content of title has been confirmed. In fact, Nintendo itself has detailed everything about it including the stuff that players should expect.

According to GameSpot, the company has just announced some new details about the forthcoming Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild DLC. It is going to be called The Master Trials and is expected to arrive this summer. While it's expected to confirm new items, fans might be a bit disappointed with the fact that it has no new story to offer.

The Master Trials will arrive with a challenge called the Trial of the Sword. It substantially begins with Links stripped with armors and weapons. Overall, there will be a total of 45 rooms in the aforesaid challenge. If, and only if, these rooms are beaten, players will get to acquire the "true power of the Master Sword." Once they do, the sword will be in a steady, glowing powered-up state.

Moreover, the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild arrives with a so-called Hard Mode, which, obviously, increases an enemy's rank. This will make the experience a little bit more difficult than before. Players should also expect monsters to suddenly appear in areas that are less unexpected. In this mode, Link is more vulnerable and can easily be spotted.

Kotaku, on the other hand, notes that the content will also add another navigation option called Travel Medallion. It can be used by players whenever they search for a chest. Once they obtain it, they can easily set a single point on the map and make it a fast travel point for their journeys.

Aside from the above-mentioned Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild DLC, a content is also expected to arrive during the holiday season this year. Unfortunately, everything about it remains vague. The developers have remained silent on what it could possibly be.
