Crash At Massachusetts Auto Auction Leaves 3 Dead And 11 Injured

Breaking news came out reporting that an unfortunate accident has happened at a car auction event in Massachusetts. The said incident resulted in casualties and numerous shocked witnesses.

Auto Auction Meets Horrific End

Greater Boston’s Lynnway Auto Auction Inc. recently held an auto action in Billerica, Massachusetts. The event was organized to take place on May 3 and May 10 at 8:40 am. However, on its May 3rd event, a car crash took place at 10:13 am, which took the lives of three people.

The news conference that was recently held revealed that a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which was on standby and preparing to get into the auto auction event, unexpectedly accelerated. It charged into the building at a dangerously high speed right into the event. The driver of the said Jeep has been identified to be an employee of the Lynnway Auto Action, who was in his 70s.

Three Dead, 11 Injured In Auto Auction Crash

There were hundreds of customers inside the building and some few hundreds outside the premises when the crash took place. The sad incident took away the lives of three people and left 11 injured. Six of the victims have been hospitalized, one battling with life-threatening injuries.

One of the dead victims was just identified to be Leezandra Aponte, a mother in her 30s with three kids. Witnesses recounted the incident and have described it to be horrific, crazy, and tragic. Others revealed that they thought a car blew up when they heard an explosion, making the whole place quiet.

The Massachusetts State Police announced through a press release that the incident was deemed to be an accident. They revealed that they did not find any evidence nor information suggesting that the said incident was intentional or was carried out as a terrorist act. They added that the information and evidence they have gathered points to an accidental cause.
