Grab the Sprint version of HTC One for just $49.99

The popularity of the recently launched HTC One is well known in the smartphone space and now the Sprint version of the handset is available for just $49.99 on a two-year contract.

The top-end HTC One sold over five million units just within one month of release. The handset is currently available on three of the major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile. Verizon has also confirmed its plans to carry the handset.

A previous tweet from Verizon stated, "It's coming - the HTC One will be available on the #Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network later this summer #HTCOne @HTCUSA."

If you are looking to buy the HTC One then you can head to Wirefly, which is offering the handset for just $49.99 on a new two-year contract for both the silver and black versions of the phone.

If you take the handset directly from Sprint, then you'll end up paying $99.99 on a new two-year contract. T-Mobile also has a price tag of $99.99 on the handset, while AT&T is selling the HTC One for $199.99 on a two-year contract.

The HTC One has been awarded the Best Smartphone for 2013 at the Computex electronics show 2013. This is, however, not the first time the HTC One has received an award. The handset made an impression at its launch and was awarded the best new mobile handset, device or tablet at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event 2013.

"We are delighted by the reactions from both consumers and the industry to the new HTC One. It is a device that has been years in the making and is one of which we are incredibly proud. With exciting features like HTC BlinkFeed, HTC BoomSound, HTC UltraPixel Camera combined with the zero gap aluminium body design, we believe that the HTC One will really change the way that people use their phones, revolutionising the overall mobile experience," said Benjamin Ho, Chief Marketing Officer for HTC after receiving the award at MWC.
