TikTok user and lawyer Erika Kullberg is known for posting numerous money-saving tips and tricks that are useful to everyone. Her most recent post shows a credit card hack that can help tourists save money whenever they purchase something using their credit card.
In the said TikTok video, a cashier gave Kullberg her total amount of purchase, charging her 20 Euros. Upon knowing the amount purchased, she told the cashier that she will be paying the total using her credit card.
When she gave her credit card to the cashier, Kullberg was then asked if she will pay for the items in Euros or USD. The lawyer replied that she will be paying in Euros. Upon giving her choice of currency, the cashier then asked her if she is certain about her choice since the credit card which will be used was issued in the US.

Since she read the terms and conditions of her credit card, Kullberg responded with her knowledge that if she chose USD to pay, she will be charged an extra fee and will be given a bad conversion rate.
Frustrated about Kullberg's knowledge, the cashier replied that she was hoping that Kullberg will choose US dollars so they could make more money from her, noting that most tourists fall for this.
As of writing, the TikTok video has accumulated more than 2 million views and about 334,000 likes.
