The 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor and Ranger are finally coming to the U.S.

After a lengthy teaser campaign for the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor, it has now been confirmed that this off-road pickup will arrive in the United States next year.

With its release, car enthusiasts are expecting that the car is going to have a few tweaks and minimal design alterations from the campaign photos.

The true global model, the second generation of the T6-platform Ranger, sits above the Maverick and below the F-150. The Ford Raptor sitting in this range allowed Ford to offer a full range of small, mid-size and large pickups to customers throughout the world.

As reported, the Ranger Raptor serves as a standout in its off-road capabilities.

This follows the car models F-150 Raptor and the future Bronco Raptor.

2023 Ford Ranger Raptor USA Release Date

The 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor USA release date was unveiled on Tuesday.

Ford CEO Jim Farley has given American truck lovers one more reason to get out of bed in the morning by confirming that the Ranger and Ranger Raptor will be available in the United States starting in 2023, via his Twitter account.

This latest release is expected to have outstanding off-road performance, like other Raptor models, such as the F-150 and the Bronco, according to Ford.

As The Drive furthered, Ford is understandably not disclosing any information at this time. However, it did claim in a news release that "the next-gen Ranger Raptor has been engineered with smarter technology controlling tougher hardware to create the most advanced Ranger ever," per Cnet

2023 Ford Ranger Raptor USA: Specs and Engine

As reported by Cnet, the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor engine power comes from a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that generates a very impressive 392 horsepower and 430 pound-foot of torque.

There are individual boost profiles for each of the forward gears in the vehicle's 10-speed automatic transmission, which is mated to the engine. There is also an active exhaust system on the Ranger Raptor.

This system includes four different profiles that can be selected using a button on the steering wheel, namely Silent, Normal, Sport and Baja. Users can only assume that Baja is the most intense of the bunch in the best possible way.

In addition, Ford improved the turbo response through including the anti-lag on the Ranger Raptor.

The anti-lag feature is only available in the Baja Mode. It works by keeping the turbochargers spinning for up to three seconds after a driver releases the brake pedal.

In turn, this allows for more rapid acceleration out of corners or through the gears when the driver backoffs the accelerator pedal.

A unique turbocharging boost profile for each of the advanced gears of the engine's 10-speed automatic transmission has also been programmed into the engine to ensure optimal performance in all situations.

As what the company unveiled, the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor is reported to be the most powerful Ranger.
