"Elden Ring" players on PC still can't catch a break from the game's issues just yet.

FromSoftware's new action role-playing game was reported to have been patched to solve the game's problems when being played on PC. However, a PC Gamer report mentioned that the patch wasn't able to solve a few issues.

'Elden Ring' Stuttering Problems

According to the report, although the day-one patch solved the stuttering issue of "Elden Ring" on PCs, there are still framerate drops, leading to stutters during gameplay.

Another problem with the game's PC iteration is its mouse sensitivity issue, wherein the mouse is too sensitive when playing.

For a game that demands players' reaction time to be always spot on, having these drawbacks could be a game-breaker for some players.

Lastly, there is a problem with the game's Easy Anti-Cheat feature, as it fails to launch when a player's Steam account name includes a multi-byte character such as kanji.

Namco's 'Elden Ring' Patches Coming Soon

Bandai Namco, the publisher of "Elden Ring," addressed these problems in a recent blog post as they stated their plans to solve the issues.

"We are currently experiencing some issues that are preventing the [Elden Ring] from playing properly under some conditions," the post reads. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your patience."

The post then elaborated on the solutions the publisher is currently on. Namco said that it is "constantly working" to improve the "Elden Ring" framerate so that it can be comfortably while being played on various PC environments and platforms. However, the company also reminded PC gamers to update their graphics card drivers to their latest version to improve their performance.

The company also mentioned it is aware of the mouse sensitivity and Easy Anti-Cheat issue and would be sending out a patch that should solve these problems "in the near future".

Namco then took the opportunity to address the game's issue on the Playstation 5 when data does not save correctly after the console is suddenly turned off or put into rest mode.

In the same post, Namco said it is aware of the issue and is working on a patch to correct it. However, it advised players to manually save their game by exiting the game regularly to do so until the patch arrives.
