iPhone 5S and low-cost/ budget iPhone images, pricing, and details leak

Apple is expected to launch two new smartphones in September, the iPhone 5S and low-cost iPhone, and now more details have emerged.

New images of the iPhone 5S' frame, colorful low-cost iPhone, and pricing details have leaked. The iPhone 5S is not expected to see any changes to the design of the smartphone, but will be getting some extra features to justify its 'S' moniker marking a new iteration.

We recently reported on a new Apple patent for a fingerprint scanner and current rumors claim the device might ship with one built in. The company might also have a surprise in store, just as it did when it introduced Siri to the world with the iPhone 4S. There have already been leaked images of the upcoming flagship smartphone, which will allegedly sport a slight tweak in design. The company reportedly included a dual-LED flash with the smartphone's rumored 13-megapixel camera. The iPhone 5S is also rumored to include LTE-Advanced, a 4G LTE radio that can theoretically achieve speeds up to 1Gbps on a network that supports the feature.

A new report claims to show images of the iPhone 5S' aluminum frame. The leaked images also show a gap on the back of the frame which lines up with previous images of the device sporting a dual-led flash. The iPhone 5S is expected to retain the same 4-inch 326ppi (pixels per inch) 1,136 x 640 Retina Display. The company is also expected to ship the smartphone with an updated processor and launch it as the first iOS device to include 2GB or RAM.

The low-cost iPhone or budget-iPhone, meanwhile, has also seen its fair share of leaks over the last couple of weeks. The same site has also posted pictures of what it claims to be the low-cost iPhone. The images match up with previous leaks, showing brightly colored iPhones wrapped in polycarbonate shells. The source claims the smartphones will ship in five colors: pink, yellow, white, blue, and green. The devices will also reportedly have black bezels on the front of the display. The smartphone is also expected to retain a 4-inch screen like the iPhone 5 and the upcoming iPhone 5S and include a Retina Display.

The source further claims to have received the unsubsidized prices of the budget iPhone. The 16GB model will reportedly cost $349, the 32GB version will cost $449, and thehigher-capacity 64GB one will cost $549. These prices are before carriers offer a discount when signing a new contract, so don't expect to shell out that much for the low-cost iPhone.
