'MultiVersus' Update: 'Scooby Doo' Character Joins Roster — Who are the Other Confirmed Characters for the Game?

"MultiVersus" is a video game that Warner Bros. fans are excitedly waiting for. While there is no confirmed release date yet for the game, a beloved "Scooby Doo" has been confirmed as the latest addition to the roster. Can you guess who it is?

'MultiVersus' Welcomes 'Scooby Doo's' Velma to Roster

"MultiVersus" has a new character on its roster and it is non other than "Scooby Doo's" very own Velma Dinkly.

A tweet posted on the official account of "MultiVersus" reads "Jinkies, a clue - Velma is officially part of the #MultiVersus roster!"

As of press time, there are no details available about Velma's character in the video game. She joins fellow "Scooby Doo" character, Norville "Shaggy" Jones, in the official lineup of characters for the Warner Bros. video game. 

Whether the other characters of the popular animated show will make it to the game remains to be seen. 

Confirmed Roster of Characters for 'MultiVersus'

According to a report by Dot Esports, the following characters have been confirmed to be part of the upcoming game's roster:

  • Batman
  • Bugs Bunny
  • Finn the Human ("Adventure Time")
  • Garnet ("Steven Universe")
  • Harley Quinn
  • Jake the Dog ("Adventure Time")
  • Reindog
  • Shaggy ("Scooby Doo")
  • Steven Universe
  • Superman
  • Tom and Jerry
  • Velma ("Scooby Doo")
  • Wonder Woman

Per the report, Reindog is an original character created for the game.

Some characters rumored to be part of the roster have also been leaked by dataminers as well as game leaks. It should be noted that, as of press time, none of these characters have been confirmed to be part of "MultiVersus."

What We Know So Far About 'MultiVersus'

It will most likely delight many fans that "MultiVersus" will be a free-to-play crossover fighting game that is expected to be released this year. Think of it as Warner Bros.'s own version of Nintendo's "Super Smash Bros." 

"Multiversus" will take on a two-on-two format. The game will be available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows.
