Fans of the "God of War" franchise are getting some exciting news. Prime Video is in negotiations for a live-action TV series based on the popular PlayStation game.

Deadline says the "The Expanse" executive producers Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, and "The Wheel of Time" showrunner Rafe Judkins will be responsible for the show. Sony Pictures Television and PlayStation Productions will collaborate with the team to ensure the TV series is properly adapted from the game. Sony and Amazon Studios are speculated to co-produce the show.

'God of War' Live-Action Series Teased

Unfortunately for fans, not much detail was revealed about the show itself. So it is hard to set up expectations for the incoming series.
