Yes, TikTok went down for about an hour or two. That left users angry but it also produced some funny rants and memes on Twitter for the world to enjoy just a few hours without TikTok.
According to Downdetector, Tiktok probably went down at around 6:50 a.m. EST, or a little earlier than that, where reports spiked to 2,515. The number of reports peaked at 8:11 a.m. where they totaled 7,574. The Daily Mail UK had more insights on the outage.
TikTok being down did not stop users from going to social media though. There are always other platforms to share their lives and look at others'.
This time, people turned to Twitter to give the world a few laughs.

Is TikTok still down? For some, maybe. but it is highly unlikely that it will remain down for all time zones.
Downdetector reports had a steep fall. Reports as of 9:33 a.m. EST totaled at just 341. That number is far from the 7,000 angry user reports just an hour ago.
Popular apps and platforms being down for a long time have been a trend lately. Two days ago, Spotify went down March 8 for more than an hour whereas Discord went offline on the same day but for a good three hours.
