Tesla Model X, Model S Swivel Screen

According to a recent report by Tesla Canada, the giant EV maker of the billionaire entrepreneur, Elon Musk, previously announced that both the refreshed version of the Model X and the Model S is getting a 17-inch center console display that could tilt to the left and the right.

However, when the new Model S Plaid started shipping to Tesla customers, the tilting screen was nowhere to be seen.

In fact, the giant EV maker even removed any references on its website that suggest that a swivel screen is coming shortly before the all-new Model S begins its deliveries.

As such, some speculations have risen from the sudden disappearance of the swivel screen feature that the Design Studio of Tesla previously announced.

Rumors were saying that the tilting feature was completely removed from the refresh models of the Model X and Model S due to the ongoing parts supply mess.

Meanwhile, a teardown of the Tesla Model S confirmed that the vehicle had the necessary hardware for the missing tilting screen feature. However, it lacks the most important parts, such as its power and motor.

This time around, though, it appears that the automaker has already gotten over whatever issues it was facing that prevented it from including the swivel screen feature.

Tesla's Swivel Screen Arrives

As per a news story by Electrek, the Musk-led carmaker has already updated its Model S sedan and Model X SUV crossover, which now sports an all-new motorized swivel screen.

The arrival of the tilting features for the massive infotainment system of both the Model S and Model X gives its users a better viewing experience inside the EV.

Electrek further highlighted in its report that Tesla has been heavily working on the in-car entertainment functionalities of its vehicles.

For instance, the tech behemoth offers Tesla Theater, which gives users a chance to catch up on their favorite shows or watch the blockbuster movie that they have been eyeing seeing.

What's more, the EV maker was also a game-changer when it introduced the Tesla Arcade, offering in-game entertainment to the passengers of their vehicles.

That's not all, the automaker also introduced a feature a couple of years back that makes it seem like you are a guest at James Corden's Carpool Karaoke.
