How to Improve the Quality of Zoom Meetings' Video? Here Are The Simple Tips

If Zoom has been a way of life for you during or even before the pandemic, you can tweak a few parameters to make your video appear great.

Zoom One provides webinar, chat, phone, meeting, and whiteboard functionalities. It also removes the need to acquire separate licenses for each service, simplifying IT billing.

Four Ways to Achieving Better Zoom Meetings Quality

Zoom may have served as a temporary solution for some people in the early stages of the epidemic. Others now see it as their way of life. If you fall into the latter group, there are a few easy-to-use parameters you may modify to make sure the video you share looks excellent.

The Zoom desktop software for Windows and Mac may be used by selecting the gear icon in the screen's upper-right corner to reach the Settings > Video section, which contains most of the settings you'll need.

MAKE SURE HD VIDEO IS ENABLED

Your webcam may be able to handle high-definition video. However, you're not getting the most out of your camera if Zoom's HD option isn't activated. Make sure the HD option is ticked under Settings > Video. It's right next to the camera selector.

ADAPT FOR LOW LIGHT

The most positively striking modification you can make is probably to adapt for low light out of all the adjustments provided. The required setting may be found under the 'My Video' header in the Settings > Video section.

Make sure the box is ticked, and then use the pulldown option next to the feature to switch to manual mode if you discover that your preview picture is too bright or not bright enough. To get it just as you want, fiddle with it a little.

IMPROVE YOUR APPEARANCE

Absolutely nothing is wrong if you have a few laugh and wrinkle lines. However, to be clear, Zoom offers a 'Touch Up My Look' option that takes care of them. In the Settings > Video section of My Video, it may be found just above the low-light option.

GET A BETTER CAMERA

It may be time to purchase a new camera if you've adjusted the settings mentioned earlier and are still unhappy, mainly if you're using a built-in laptop camera. Better quality may be found with standalone cameras, and placing a webcam on a tripod enables you to frame yourself more attractively. (Try setting the camera somewhat high and tilting it slightly toward your face.)

There are many great cameras for around $100, including this Logitech model, but Zoom only supports HD (1280720) at 30 fps. It's not essential to spend $150 to $200 on a 4K camera unless you want to use it for non-Zoom purposes like live game broadcasting or offline recording.

A 4K webcam won't function with Zoom, though. The app's future features are unknown.

Zoom Launched a New Update Called Zoom One

Zoom unveiled Zoom One in June, a package that includes its webinar, chat, phone, meeting, and whiteboard features. According to Zoom, Zoom One, which is now available, eliminates the need to purchase different licenses for each service, streamlining invoicing for IT administration.

Businesses still recognize the time and money savings of using a single provider. Brent Kelly, the principal analyst at Omdia Research, said in the announcement that the results of the most recent end-user survey by Omdia show that 40% of organizations are prioritizing investments around getting rid of multiple cloud-based UC solutions that might be implemented within their organizations.

As a result of Zoom One's tiered bundles and shared administration interface, we believe that the desire to streamline corporate processes is a market trend that will only gain significance over time.
