This movie is definitely unique. The reviews for The Expendables were mixed, with some appreciating the action sequences and others critiquing the film for its lack of a story.

However, despite the praise and criticism, The Expendables was still considered a major success. This success led to two more films based on its story, The Expendables 2 and The Expendables 3.

While on the job, Rath goes to a funeral to carry out his mission of assassinating a renowned mobster. However, he is surprised to see his rival's hired gunman, Miguel Bain, who is portrayed by the Spanish actor Antonio Banderas.

The other assassin, Bain, is successful in taking Rath's target out of the picture first. After that, Bain discloses his strategy, which is to kill Rath and then become the most skilled assassin in the world.

This movie revolves around Bain attempting to escape the world of contract killing. It becomes increasingly hazardous for Rath as he develops feelings for his intended victim, Electra, and he himself becomes a target of assassination attempts.
