A recent soccer game strapped some players with body cameras.

As Kotaku reports, a pre-season friendly match was scheduled yesterday, which was played by AC Milan and Germany's FC Koln. However, yesterday's game was a little bit different in the field of soccer.

The soccer teams tried something that has never been done before; they strapped cameras to some of the players so that anyone watching from home could get as close to the action as possible. 

The players who had a body cam strapon were Milan's Olivier Giroud and Germany's Tim Limperle.

By attaching a body cam to Tim Limperle, the body cam was able to record incredible footage of their team's goal from yesterday's match against AC Milan.

Fans were given the opportunity to view the objective from Limperle's point of view by way of a post on the company's Instagram feed.

The testing of strapping around cameras did not involve all of the players. The body camera was tested on selected players of the teams only.

Soccer Body Cam: AC Milan and FC Koln

According to Sport Bible, the recent soccer match between AC Milan and FC Koln used a body cam that was designed by MindFly.

The video released yesterday provided a one of a kind first person perspective using the body cam when used in action.

The camera provided a personal look at everything, from the pregame handshakes up until the match itself.

First Person Perspective in Sports

FIFA is not the only one who thought of this kind of innovation. Providing high quality definition and resolution to fans when they watch is one of the goals of airing sports shows.

The Brooklyn Nets became the first American sports franchise to join the NBA Metaverse as a result of this development, and as a result, they came up with the phrase "Netaverse."

Through the use of a 360-degree virtual reality headset, fans of the Brooklyn Nets will be able to experience a unique and personal first-person view of the famous Barclays Center.

As a result of dozens of high-powered cameras being strategically placed throughout the Barclays Center, spectators will be able to view and enjoy the game regardless of where they are located within the arena.
