GM Blazer EV vs Ford Mach-E and Tesla Model Y

GM is putting a lot of effort and funding to shift into producing more electric vehicles in the future. Aside from that they also plan to take more of the market;s share from Tesla as the leading EV provider in the U.S.

According to the company's CEO and Chairman of GM, Mary Barra, there are high hopes that the company's efforts will overtake Tesla in terms of EV sales in the United States by the year 2025.

According to Forbes, the background briefing revealed that it has some noticeable similarities with Ford's Mach-E and Tesla's Model Y, but with a distinct appearance. It is highly likely that the Blazer will weigh in at least several hundred pounds more than either the Ford or the Tesla.

Forbes added, "Like the Mach-E, the faux grille is body color on the base LT trims, but framed in black to help break up the bland expanse found on the Tesla."

Lastly, Chevrolet, just like a lot of other new electric vehicle manufacturers, is counting on lighting signatures to lend its vehicles some personality.
