Best Superhero Films That You Can Stream on Netflix This 2022

While Netflix streams original contents, the streaming platform also shows movies from other production studios. Given that almost everyone loves superhero movies, Netflix makes sure that you'll get enough superhero films to keep you entertained.

Fans of superhero movies will be delighted to know that a great deal of Netflix's collection is dedicated to superhero films. Here are some of the best superhero films that you can stream on Netflix this 2022.

1. 'Spiderman: Homecoming' (2017)

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" is a good story origin for Tom Holland's Peter Parker. The movie revolves on Parker's effort to become an Avenger. It also highlights his difficulties as he struggles to juggled his normal life and his superhero activities, particularly when the villainous Vulture entered the scene, as per Game Rant.

The movie is humorous and Holland gives a great performance in the lead role. Probably the most intense moments in the movie are the scenes between Spider-Man and his mentor Iron Man. Moreover, fans seem to praise Michael Keaton's performance as a surprisingly sympathetic villain Adrian Toomes.

2. 'Venom' (2018)

There is a mix reaction from viewers of "Venom," but if you'll just give the movie a chance, you'll find that it has a lot to offer. The unique aspect of the movie is the unusual relationship between Eddie and his new roommate "Venom," who resides inside Eddie's body, as per Game Rant. 

The developing love/hate relationship between the two is an interesting aspect of the story. There are many hilarious moments between Eddie and "Venom." Although the action aspect might not always be as intense as in other superhero movies, it is fast pace and it doesn't disappoint viewers. A plus point is Tom Hardy's excellent performance as Eddie.

3. 'Code 8' (2019)

Despite the meager budget compared to other superhero movies, "Code 8" is an impressive movie. The movie centered on a dark, gritty world where people with power are persecuted. As a result, they have to keep their powers hidden or live a life of crime in order to do better.

Robbie Amell, who plays Firestorm in the "Arrowverse," stars as Connor. He is a young man who joins forces with the criminal Garrett, portrayed by Stephen Amell, as per Game Rant. In addition to a lot of tension, the movie brings intriguing characters. The movie is said to get a sequel.

4. 'Blade Runner 2049' (2017)

"Blade Runner 2049" is ser 30 years after the 1982 original "Blade Runner." The movie is a great one, but it disappointed some die-hard fans as a sequel to the original. According to Cyber Ghost VPN website, the movie is a "standard to be on the fence about sequels released decades after the originals." 

Watching Ryan Gosling and Ana de Armas as lead cast is a pleasure. The gorgeous sci-fi noir aesthetic and a superb soundtrack make watching film a great experience. 

5. 'Batman: The Killing Joke' (2016)

"Batman: The Killing Joke" is based on one of the most controversial graphic novels in the "Batman" series. Thus, it's the kind of film that you'll either love or hate. Mark Hamill, Kevin Conroy, and Tara Strong reprise their roles as The Joker, Batman, and Barbara Gordon, respectively.

The movie has an R rating that you have to take seriously, as the brutal plot will leave you disturbed and outraged.
