Millions of people adore "Avatar: The Last Airbender," and now fans can play a new game based on the show.

Avatar: Generations Mobile RPG

A new tactical mobile RPG called Avatar: Generations is set in the world of the adored "Avatar: The Last Airbender" television series on Nickelodeon. Yes, you read that right. Avatar: Generations is a brand-new free-to-play RPG adventure that will be based on "Avatar: The Last Airbender".

The game will have a soft launch in a few regions this August, Square Enix London Mobile said on Thursday.

According to GameRant, the mobile game is being developed in partnership with Paramount Consumer Products and the Vancouver-based game firm Navigator Games.

Which Countries Will Be Able To Play the Game?

This soft launch will only be available in Canada, Denmark, South Africa, and Sweden, according to a press release that accompanied the announcement.

Only Android-based smartphones will be able to play the game initially. Following that, there will be a wider deployment in other regions and support for iOS, as per the news story of ComicBook.

What Can You Expect From the Game?

GameRant explained that Avatar: Generations allows players to undertake the roles of fan favorites from the entire franchise while expanding the adored universe of the well-known franchise.

Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, Suki, and Zuko are introduced in the first chapter together with Appa and Momo as they set out on an expedition to fulfill Aang's destiny.

Future additions will explore Avatar Kyoshi, Korra, Roku, and other characters throughout the Four Nations' timelines. As players add new heroes and develop the potential of their teams, the game will include squad-based battles and distinctive adventure sequences that are supported by upgrade and party customization systems.

Along with brand-new stories that broaden the universe, players will also be able to experience popular locales, tales, and events in an open world.

Avatar: Generations Teaser Site

This announcement of the soft launch came along with a first look at some of the game's assets, including a teaser website. Unfortunately, there isn't a gameplay demonstration or trailer available for Avatar: Generations yet, as per ComicBook.

Anyone who has watched "Avatar: The Last Airbender" to any extent will recognize the scene from the game's first artwork. Along with the name of the game and the icons for the four elements, it shows Aang, Katara, and Sokka riding on Appa.

There wasn't much additional information about the game on the teaser website.

This Game Was First Announced in October 2021

The development of a new Avatar: The Last Airbender-based video game was revealed by Square Enix in October of last year. According to ComicBook, this game is being worked on alongside another new anticipated game in the "Tomb Raider" franchise.

For those who have already figured it out, this means that the "Tomb Raider" game will be available on mobile devices. That might be a drawback for some, but it's fantastic news for fans of mobile games and these franchises in general.
