'The Santa Clauses' Disney+ Series Trailer Has Been Released

Tim Allen is reprising his role as Santa Claus in the upcoming limited series of Disney+ entitled "The Santa Clauses," according to ComingSoon.net. The series is based on the "Santa Claus" film franchise.

Scott Calvin Saves Christmas Once Again in 'The Santa Clauses'

Allen will once again play the role of Scott Calvin or Santa Claus. In the movie, Scott discovered that the kids he once brought presents to have grown into adults, as per CNET.

These grown-ups no longer believe in the magic of Christmas. On the brink of his 65th birthday, Scott thought of retiring and leading a regular life with his family.

Thus, he finds a replacement for himself and leaves the North Pole together with his family.

Scott, his wife Carol, and their children, Cal and Sandra, leave the magical world of North Pole to live a regular life.

However, it seems that his role as Santa Claus is not yet over after discovering that he made a mistake in choosing his replacement.

Scott and his family have to go back to the magical world of North Pole to save Christmas once again, and to prevent the elves from disappearing.

The series will star Elizabeth Mitchell as Carol/Mrs. Claus, Tim Allen's real-life daughter Elizabeth Allen-Dick as Sandra, and Austin Kane as Cal.

Other actors include Devin Bright as Noel, Matilda Lawler as Betty, Rupali Redd as Grace, Laura San Giacomo as a Christmas witch, and Kal Penn as Simon Choski.

David Krumholtz will also reprise his beloved role as Bernard the elf.

Tim Allen Decided to Reprise His Role as Santa Claus

When Allen was asked why he decided to reprise his role, he said: "You people made me. We thought about this for a long time. The only way I would do this is if [they] answer some of the background. They answer the questions. I said yes."

According to Deadline, included in the questions to be answered is why Mrs. Claus doesn't have a first name.

Likewise, the history of Santa will be unveiled. The mystery if there has been any human children at the North Pole will be answered as well.
