Microsoft Says XBox Game Pass Is Dropping Four More Games

Microsoft will soon be withdrawing more games from Xbox Game Pass, as it does on a regular basis.

According to Game Spot, an alert that appeared in the Xbox Game Pass app said that at least four titles would be leaving the service on January 31.

This Is Not The First Time Xbox Game Pass Has Lost Titles

Telling Lies, Donut County, Worms W.M.D., and Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master are the four games leaving on January 31.

The withdrawal of these four games was confirmed by Microsoft in a blog post that was published after this information became public via the Xbox Game Pass app.

If users wish to continue playing after the removal date, there is a silver lining in that Game Pass subscribers can save 20% on titles when purchasing them outright.

This is not the first wave of removals for Game Pass this year as six titles, including We Happy Few, The Anacrusis, Windjammers 2, Pupperazzi, Nobody Saves the World, and Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, were removed from the library on January 15.

Microsoft made sure that Xbox Game Pass has a consistent supply of games throughout 2022, including new releases and classic games.

However, while a staggering number of games joined Xbox Game Pass in 2022, numerous titles also left the service this year.

With some sporadic exceptions, games were often deleted from Game Pass on the 15th and the last day of each month, Game Rant writes.

Microsoft outlined them explicitly in an official blog post, and Xbox Game Pass customers typically received at least two weeks' notice before the games were deleted.

It is notable that Embr, Gorogoa, Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars, Iron Harvest, Outer Wilds, Scarlet Nexus, Secret Neighbor, The Pedestrian, and Tropico 6 were the games that Xbox Game Pass coveted at the time.
