Sprint is now accepting pre-orders for the LG G2 for $99.99 and is including a free QuickWindow Case ($49.99 value) when you pre-order.
The LG G2 is LG's latest flagship smartphone and it has all of the latest high-end specs and features to make it worthy of the title. The handset is currently offered by Verizon and AT&T and will soon be sold by Sprint, as the carrier has started accepting pre-orders for the smartphone.
"With all of the side buttons removed, the G2 not only makes way for an ultra-slim bezel with near edge-to-edge brilliance, it's also equally ergonomic for left- and right-handed users. Adding to its ambidextrous allure is an intuitively placed rear volume rocker and power keys," touted Sprint on its pre-order page. "With a 5.2-inch 1080p full HD IPS display and that ultra-thin bezel, the screen is glorious and expansive, and its 3,000 Ah Li-ION battery will ensure hours on end of pure viewing pleasure."
Some of the Sprint LG G2's key features include:
- Multitask by switch between 3 apps in seconds with Slide Aside.
- Knock twice on the G2 display to turn it on or off without needing to press the power key with the KnockOn feature.
- Guest Mode lets you share G2 with friends or children with pre-set access and restrictions, so you can keep your content safe.
- Layer multiple windows with QSlide 2.0 so you can do more at once.
- Now it's easy to copy and paste to a clipboard with Clip Tray.
- Listen to crystal clear high quality audio with 24-bit, 192 kHz Hi-Fi playback on both FLAC and WAV files.
The Sprint LG G2 features a 5.2-inch 1080 x 1920 Full HD IPS display with a pixel density of 423 pixels per inch (ppi). It is powered by a 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. LG has included a 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat.
The smartphone's wireless connectivity options include a 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and NFC. The LG G2 includes 32GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. It also packs in a large 3,000 mAh battery.
Sprint is accepting pre-orders for the LG G2 in choice of black or white and is including a free QuickWindow Case for $99.99 when signing a new 2-year contract. The carrier is currently listing a Nov. 8 shipping date for the smartphone.
