Dead by Daylight's 27th chapter comes with a new survivor, killer, and map, much like most of its previous ones. However, what's new here is that the game features siblings as survivors and its first-ever original modern female killer.

Let's start with the survivors. According to Games Press, the game's new survivors consist of the brother-sister duo Thalita and Renato Lyra, who served as a beacon of light within their community, using their kite-flying business to teach children from the area.

The two always work as a team, which is second nature to them already - a fact not lost in their unique Teamwork perks, benefitting those who choose to work together best.

Unfortunately, Behaviour has yet to reveal the siblings' perks as of press time. However, the opposite is true for the game's newest killer: the Skull Merchant.

The Skull Merchant, also known as Adriana Imai, is a wealthy high-powered tech executive that splits her life between buying and absorbing smaller companies as her public persona and sating her bloodlust in the guise of her alter ego.

For the first time in Dead by Daylight's history, a killer can now utilize modern technology to their advantage, making the hunt for survivors easier across the map. Her Power, "Eyes in the Sky," reflects that novelty; it allows her to position four drones - each crafted around the skull of a former victim- to watch for survivors.

Her perks, "Game Afoot," and "THWACK!" allows her to either close in on the survivor she is obsessed with or keep tabs on where the survivors are after being hooked, respectively, per HITC. Her third perk, "Leverage," slows down the speed at which survivors heal by a certain percentage for 30 seconds depending on the perk's level.

The game also adds a new map called "the Hunting Camp," a demesne set in MacMillan Estate's Shelter Woods map that serves as the Skull Merchant's base, allowing her to build tools and show off her "trophies" while also reflecting her twisted world, per Dexerto.

Dead By Daylight Chapter 27: Tools Of Torment

Dead By Daylight Chapter 27: Tools Of Torment will become available to download on March 7 for its players on Steam, the PS4, and PS5, Xbox Series X|S, the epic Games Store, Windows Store, and Nintendo Switch.

Not much is known about the chapter's pricing, but if it is paid content and past pricing holds, it would probably cost $6.99 as well, per its Steam store page.
