The Entity will be haunting mobile devices in the immediate future.

Behaviour Interactive recently announced it is opening the pre-registration for Dead by Daylight Mobile, which will include an incentive for players to sign up to get the game on their devices on release.

Dead by Daylight was previously only available for the PC, PlayStation consoles, Xbox consoles, Nintendo Switch, and the now defunct Google Stadia.

Behaviour Interactive mentioned that it had partnered with NetEase Games, the same Chinese company that helped developed Diablo Immortal, to bring the mobile version of its hit 4v1 asymmetric horror game Dead By Daylight to mobile devices, per Games Press

The video game developer mentioned that the game is set for release on Mar. 15 and that players can now pre-order/pre-register for the game on Google Play and the Apple App Store on Feb. 22.

This pre-registration comes ahead of a massive update for the game that would improve its gameplay experience and add a "variety of customization options and cosmetic items" for players to use.

These customization options include a brand new platinum tier that contains customization options that introduce exclusive Memento Mori animations for the Killers, though Behaviour has yet to disclose which killers would be available on the game's launch.

Aside from customization options, the game's update comes with many graphical improvements that include the addition of physics to clothing and hair, allowing them to move in response to the game world.

The update also comes with dynamic shading and light, along with a complete visual overhaul of every character and map. Additionally, the game's controls and several bug fixes will receive improvements to make them better, while the game itself will get additional quality-of-life updates.

To make communication between Survivors better, the game will include a pre-game lobby that allows survivors to communicate with each other. Killers will also get to make last-minute changes before a match begins, thanks to the pre-game lobby.
