HoYoverse still has more stories to tell in Honkai Impact 3rd.
The popular video game developer recently announced that it is releasing version 6.5, titled "Hot Sands Escapade," for its popular action RPG Honkai Impact 3rd on Apr. 6, which features many new additions to the game, including limited-time events.
Honkai Impact 3rd is available to download for free for the PC through Steam and on mobile devices through either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
Honkai Impact 3rd New Version Hot Sands Escapade Details
HoYoverse mentioned in its announcement that Hot Sands Escapade would expand the unique stories its protagonists will make during their ongoing journey despite the game telling the last part of its main story, per Games Press.
One of these unique stories is a limited-time event which has Seele and the Valkyrie Quicksand, Susannah, investigating a new case as the Schicksal Investigators, per Pocket Gamer. Additionally, the update will allegedly tell everything that happened following the Great Eruption, expanding the game's lore further despite being in its late stage.
Speaking of Susannah, the Valkyrie Quicksand will officially join captains on the Hyperion as soon as HoYoverse releases v6.5 of the game. The new battlesuit seems to draw inspiration from dancing dives, allowing her to utilize graceful dance moves and music in her combat style.
A HoYoLab post classifies Susannah as an A-rank Qua-type physical bleed DPS battlesuit that "dances in an upbeat tempo and runs on the path of completing missions like a happy little bear."

Susannah's design is likely inspired by Nilou from Genshin Impact, another popular RPG from HoYoverse, though the former's combat style is entirely unique to her thanks to her signature PRI-ARM, Twirling Glaze: Lustrous Bloom, which fits her fighting style perfectly.
Her basic attacks with a chakram to perform a 4-sequence attack, which restores Confidence and inflicts Bleed Trauma on enemies she hits, per HoYoverse. Meanwhile, casting QTE, Combo attacks, or her ultimate grants High Morale state to the team and enable them to inflict more Bleed stacks.
Hot Sands Escapade Limited-Time Events
Aside from a new Valkyrie and Schicksal Investigators case, players can also enjoy two limited-time events: Meow Town Escapade and HOMU World Tour Championship. The former has Captains meet tons of kittens in a picturesque town and follow Sussanah's steps into trials and courses with her tutors: Lu Sushang, Durandal, and Rita, to learn how to dodge flying swords, take defensive actions, and dance, respectively.
Meanwhile, the latter event has players control chibi Valkyries and engage in battle across four new maps and two competitive systems.
New Valkyrie Outfits
The update will also come with new outfits for the Herrschers of Human: Ego, Sentience, and Susannah herself.
For the Herrscher of Human: Ego, a new outfit called "Peachy Spring," which seems to be inspired by sakura trees, will be available to her on the update's release. Meanwhile, the Herrscher of Sentience will have a casual outfit called "Turn Up the Music1" for her to wear when the update is out.
Finally, Susannah's first outfit as part of the Hyperion's crew is a uniform that does away with her dancer aura and gives her a more modern look and that makes her fit in with the battleship's crew.
