5 Most Satisfying TV Show Deaths

When you get invested in a TV show, certain character deaths may weigh heavy on you. On the other hand, the death of characters you hate might just make you cheer. Here are some TV show deaths that its fans probably enjoyed.

1. Katherine Pierce from 'The Vampire Diaries'

Learning about Katherine Pierce's backstory has made fans a little sympathetic as to why she is the way she is. However, it does not outweigh everything that she has done to make the character favorites' lives miserable.

She always used people to get ahead and save her own skin, so when she was sucked into a void because the "Other Side" just won't accept her, the fans' wishes were granted, and they were finally rid of the evil doppelganger.

2. The Governor from 'The Walking Dead'

The Governor was not quite as interesting as the antagonist Negan, but he also had flair in his own way. You have to hand it to the guy since he managed to keep a community going given the apocalyptic circumstances.

Still, the deaths on his hands were unforgivable, especially the way took a beloved character, Hershel, down. What makes his passing so satisfying is the fact that the girl he fell in love with finished the job.

3. Joffrey Baratheon from 'Game of Thrones'

"Game of Thrones" was not short of characters you want to strangle yourself, but Joffrey Baratheon is the most annoying by a mile. The sadistic king enjoyed the torture of both animals and people, and he was responsible for the death of Ned Stark.

People hated him so much that you can find videos on YouTube where an entire bar cheered at his death scene. The actor who played the character, Jack Gleeson, is actually a nice person in real life based on the people who've met him.

4. Inspector Campbell from 'Peaky Blinders'

Inspector Campbell was annoyingly adamant about taking down the Shelbys, and since they are the main characters that fans have already learned to love, that's something that just won't do. He's a hypocrite for looking down on people for what they do when he would do the same.

When Polly shot him, it was among the most satisfying deaths in the show, considering that Campbell asked Polly for a sexual favor in exchange for her son's release from jail. The act haunted Polly, so Campbell's death at her hands was redemption.

5. Vaemond Velaryon from 'House of the Dragon'

For the record, Vaemond was in the right when it comes to his claim with Driftmark because Rhaenyra Targaryen's children are in fact, not Velaryons. As Aemond Targaryen said, they were "strong" boys *wink wink*.

Still, we are rooting for the protagonist, Rhaenyra. He insulted the future queen in front of all the people in court, calling her and her sons derogatory names. Daemon, of course, won't stand for the insult of his beloved niece and sliced Vaemond's head clean off.
