The journey to fix Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has begun.

Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment recently released a series of patches to fix some of the issues of the latter's latest entry to its Star Wars Jedi series.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Patch Details

Respawn Entertainment's Star Wars Jedi: Survivor team mentioned on the game's official Twitter account that it had released the first wave of patches to fix the many issues plaguing it.

According to the post, the patches the development team made are for all platforms, but all of them were made immediately available on Jedi: Survivor's PC version for a good reason. It doesn't properly work regardless of whether players have a high-end PC or not; the game's console versions of the game were hard hit by its bugs, but not as bad as the PC version.

Respawn Entertainment's first patch for the PC came on May 1, which contained performance improvements for non-raytraced rendering. Meanwhile, it released patches on May 2 to fix the following issues to the game, improving the game's performance on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S:

The Problems With Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Star Wars: Jedi Survivor was a long-awaited game that expanded game protagonist Kal Kestis' story after the events of the first game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Unfortunately, the numerous bugs, glitches, freezes, and crashes gamers experienced while playing the game, especially PC gamers, hindered their experiences to the point that they began review bombing the game's Steam page.

Many called out the game's more prominent issues, such as its crashes, freezes, framerate drops, and poor performance even with mid-to-high-end PC specifications.

However, Respawn Entertainment did address the game's issues, saying that it is committed to fixing these issues "as soon as possible."
