HoYo FEST is coming back this year and in full swing, no less!
HoYoverse recently announced it is officially launching HoYo FEST in various cities in Southeast Asia in 2023, with the event launching in late July for some.
HoYo FEST is a global series of online and offline festivals HoYoverse hosts every year to celebrate and showcase the games it develops and the communities that love them, per Games Press.
HoYo FEST 2023 Details
HoYoVerse has something special in mind for this year's HoYo FEST - this year's celebration is the first time it has gathered all six of its titles to the event, per the game developer's announcement. These games are Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3rd, Honkai Star Rail, Tears of Themis, Lumi_N0va, and its upcoming game, Zenless Zone Zero, per the event's official website.
People going to the offline, in-person event venue can expect that each of the previously mentioned games will have an exclusive space at the event's combined booth, with themed décor echoing the classic scenes in-game, bringing the games' world into reality and offering an immersive experience for fans and players alike.
For instance, Genshin Impact's booth features a recreation of a popular attraction in Mondstadt that will provide a warm welcome to all Travellers and a place to connect, cooperate, and compete with each other through various interactive activities like stage competitions and quiz games.
Honkai Impact 3rd's booth will showcase the higher-dimensional realm, Sea of Quanta, via its mysterious design style. Captains visiting the booth can play the game for themselves and "dive headfirst into the infinite realities" the Sea of Quanta provides.

In addition to the various activities in Honkai Impact 3rd's booth, HoYoverse will premiere the game's official online concert on screen on July 29 at 8 PM (UTC+8).
Honkai: Star Rail's booth is decorated with the colors of the Xianzhou Luofu, the giant Silkpunk flagship in the game. It also features "Exhilarating interactive activities and stage competitions" visitors can participate in, though what they are is still unclear.
Zenless Zone Zero, HoYoverse's highly-anticipated action RPG, also has a themed booth that brings one of its iconic spots to life, the Random Play video store. Visitors can try the game's demo for themselves there and know more about its story and gameplay.
Tears of Themis allows Attorneys to relive the romantic proposal scene once more, giving them the ability to rewind the touching and heart-melting moments with the four male protagonists.
Last, but not least, Lumi, HoYoverse's virtual actress, will also allow visitors to take a sneak peek of her room for Lumi_N0va's booth.
HoYo FEST 2023 Schedule
HoYo FEST 2023 will first take place in Indonesia and Vietnam on July 27 until Aug. 6 at the Mall Artha Gading in Jakarta and AEON MALL Tân Phú Celadon in Ho Chi Minh City, respectively. The event will also take place in Malaysia's Tropicana Gardens Mall in Selangor on Aug. 1 to Aug. 7.
HoYoverse will also host HoYo FEST 2023 in Thailand, Singapore, and the Philippines in Bangkok, Singapore City, and Manila, respectively, later in 2023. Unfortunately, the game developer has yet to disclose where it will host its annual event in these countries- we'll update this article when HoYoverse reveals where.
