Hasbro Seeks Transformers Games Revival; Activision Confirms Game Codes are Safe

Hasbro has been eyeing to bring back Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3-era of Transformers games. 

However, the company claimed that the company behind the famous robot franchise, Activision, has lost track of the games making the revival impossible. 

"When a company eats a company that eats a company things get lost, and that's very frustrating," Hasbro lamented during the San Diego Comic Con.

Activision Debunks Hasbro's "Lost" Claim 

In August 1, Activision CCO Lulu Cheng Meservey clarified the allegations that the company lost the Transformers games. 

"We have the code, it's not lost and never was," she tweeted

In response, Hasbro released a statement apologizing to Activision for the incident. "To clarify, comments that suggest Transformers games have been lost were made in error," Hasbro explained.

Hasbro Aims to Include Cybertron Series to Game Pass

Hasbro also shared that the company hopes to the possibility of bringing the Cybertron series in Xbox and adding it to the game pass. 

If granted, the companies will have to dig through all the archives and every hard drive to find these old games. With Activision's confirmation that the game codes are still stored, maybe this dream will not be as far fetched as it was. 

For now, Transformers fans will have to be patience for these companies next move.
