Roblox Revenue Declines, Experiences Drop in Daily Users

Roblox Corporation recently reported that shares for the company dropped by 20 percent during the second-quarter revenue report.

Roblox on Continuous Loss 

Roblox reported a $780.7 million in bookings based on the company's sales and purchases in game for second quarter. This in turn resulted to 22 percent increase in the year-over-year. 

However, despite the increase, the company still failed to achieve the projected $785 million. Roblox Corp. also had a net loss of $282.2 million due to the high level of expenses needed to further the growth of the business. 

Roblox Daily Users Drop 

By the end of June 30, Roblox gamers spent 14 billion hours playing the game. The data fell below the expected 14.4 billion  playing hours. 

Roblox currently has 65.5 million average daily active users and 13.5 million monthly unique players. 

On the other hand, the average money spent per daily active user dropped by 3 percent with $11.92 per user. Regardless of the loss, Roblox remains to be one of the most popular gaming platforms.
