Snapchat Dreams

Snapchat has not yet released the full details about Dreams. However, reports showed that the feature is designed to put the users' selfies in an AI-generated "fantastical places and scenarios," as stated by Steve Moser. These imaginative backgrounds aims to add more user experience for Snapchat users.

In addition, a Dreams with Friends might be included in the roll out. This will allow the users have more connection and collaboration while exploring various scenarios offered by Snapchat. On the other hand, Dream Packs also hinted that the feature might come with an optional paid content for additional experience.

Snapchat's Dreams was first spotted earlier this spring. However, Snapchat remains silent on the development and their plans for Dreams.

Snapchat Other AI Features

Snapchat has been openly and actively working on developing its generative AI features for a while. Recently, the company launched My AI which allowed users to converse with a chatbot.

My AI is powered by OpenAI's ChatGPT which users can ask about various different things. Regardless of Snapchat's AI integration, the company warned that users should still comply under the community guidelines to avoid any issues and violations in the platform.
