Spotify for Podcasters

The Spotify for Podcasters is the company's way of giving the creators tools and ways to engage with their listeners. Starting this week, Spotify added new customization features to give podcasters a way to boost their presence in the platform.

Since Spotify is a well-known platform with lots of podcast episodes to choose from, sometimes it can be exhausting for potential listeners having to go through each episode. Hence, the company made a "Best place to start" tab wherein creators can feature one episode that they think can convert this potential listener to a loyal listener.

In addition, creators will also be able share their favorites from other Spotify creators using the "Host recommendation." This could be in a form of a podcast, album, playlist, or audiobook. This new feature can help catapult your reach by cross-promoting another show or put shows where you guested or referenced for.

Spotify Impression Analytics

Spotify will also be launching the impression analytics to help the creators understand and analyze the standing of their show. The overview will include the total number of impressions for the whole show and the individual episodes within the 30-day period.

On the other hand, the company also assured that they are continuing to explore monetization options such as Patreon and Automated Ads feature. Podcasters should watch out for an invite as Spotify is ready to expand their Automated Ads program. Soon, creators will also be able to track their earnings and measure the performance of their ads.
