Fortnite is no stranger to crossover updates from the Galaxy Far, Far Away. You may recall that the game featured Darth Maul, Darth Vader, Padme Amidala, Anakin Skywalker, and Obi-Wan Kenobi in previous "Star Wars" crossover updates, with the latest being in early May.

However, Epic Games couldn't get enough of adding Star Wars characters to Fortnite. The game developer revealed in its announcement that the game's fourth chapter of the fourth season will reunite Skywalker with his former apprentice.

Ahsoka Tano's addition to the game is no surprise. Disney's "Ahsoka" TV series went live on Disney+ on Aug. 22; it tells the story of the Chosen One's former apprentice as she investigates an emerging threat to the galaxy years after the fall of the Galactic Empire, per Disney+.

Along the way, Ahsoka will also try to find a Jedi who has been missing since the early days of the Rebellion. She will also meet characters Star Wars would recognize if they watched "Star Wars: Rebels."

Unfortunately, Epic Games didn't share any other information about Ahsoka's guest appearance in Fortnite; it didn't even tell when she would become available. However, the game developer will probably reveal more about Ahsoka's guest appearance in a later announcement.

Aside from Ahsoka, Epic Games also added new locations to the Battle Island and firearms for players to enjoy in Fortnite's chapter 4 season 4, "Last Resort."

The game developer said that the Battle Island has become the home to a vampire, Kado Throne, and it is up to players and the Heist team to stop his ultimate plan. As such, Epic Games added new locations to the Island for players to explore: Sanguine Suites, Relentless Retreat, and Eclipsed Estate.

However, these places are rigged with cameras, laser grids, and guards to prevent anyone from stealing the valuable items housed within them. To even the odds, Epic Games released new weapons that are guaranteed to pack a punch.

For starters, players can use the new Riocket Ram to breach into buildings and use the Infiltrator Pump Shotgun, Scoped Burst SMG, or the Twin Mag Assault Rifle to send lead to Throne's goons. As the name implies, players can reload faster than every other reload with the Twin Mag Assault Rifle.

Players can expect to use a Business Turret for a more hands-off approach, while those who came unprepared should look for Heist bags to gain various Heist equipment and items.

As with every update, Fortnite's fourth chapter has some new reality augments to introduce. These augments can give players a Heist Bag from any container, give them Siphon when damaging enemies, make enemies drop more ammo than usual, and even swim faster.

Lastly, players can get the outfits of the Heist team to roleplay as them with the Chapter 4 Season 4 Battle Pass. Players who buy the battle pass will automatically get the the Heist team's leader, Nolan Chance, upon purchase.
