New X Feature Allows Premium Users to Hide Like Counts

Premium X users are now entitled to hide their like counts as part of the subscription, the company announced

X Premium Hide Count Likes Feature 

To enable the exclusive feature, premium users can change their preferences under the profile customization through the early access period. Once enabled, the likes tab will automatically disappear from the premium user's profile. 

"Keep spicy likes private by hiding your likes tab," X wrote in a post teasing the new feature. 

Engadget reported that premium subscribers will now be able to hide that they like questionable posts on the platform. The report showed that some public figures were caught liking suspicious tweets which sparked conversations online. 

X Continuous Attempt to Gain Profit 

X Premium is only one of the company's ways to come back from losing revenue since Elon Musk's acquisition. It was previously reported that X's company advertising revenue declined by 60 percent. 

The X premium subscription currently costs $8 per month or $84 per year. The premium users are entitled to early access to new features, blue check marks, and others.
