After months of speculations and leaks, Google finally revealed the Pixel 8 phones lineup during the Made by Google Event.

Google Upgrades Pixel 8 Lineup With AI
At first look, the Pixel 8 devices bear similarities with its predecessors. However, Google managed to slide in new generation features from photography, videos, audio recordings, and more. Powered by the latest Google Tensor G3 chip, it allows AI advancements to run smoothly on the phone.
The new Pixel 8 introduced new speech enhancements such as the Pixel's Speech and Natural Language Understanding. This feature allows the users to type, edit, and send messages using voice. Moreover, the Pixel 8 can also process several languages making it more inclusive to other languages.
Call Assist is also a popular feature, especially for users who receive calls every day, as it automatically removes background noise from the call. Meanwhile, the Call Screen feature is an AI tool that prevents spam calls from getting through. The feature will answer the phone for you and Google assures that it is smart enough to distinguish what is a spam call from a normal phone call.
Google Boasts Better Camera Tools for Pixel 8
Pixel phones have been widely acknowledged for actualizing better camera features from its previous lineup. This year, the company invested in developing the video capabilities of the Pixel 8 by enhancing its low-light performance, dynamic range, and shadow noise.
During the event, Google also confirmed the leaked feature Audio Magic Eraser which is an AI tool that reduces distracting background noise from videos. Pixel 8 devices are also capable of getting the Best Take wherein the AI helps users to generate the best group photo. Meanwhile, the Magic Editor allows users to re-imagine their photos through improved editing.
There are also other features that will certainly level up the photography game of every user such as the Pro controls. The controls will allow users to experiment and have full control of the image quality.
Google Pixel 8 Availability
The Pixel 8 devices are designed with a matte glass finish and a high-polished camera. The Pixel 8 comes in three colors such as hazel, obsidian, and rose. Meanwhile, the Pixel 8 Pro is available in bay, obsidian, and porcelain.
The new Pixel devices are now available for pre-order via the Google website with the Pixel 8 costing $699 while the Pixel Pro 8 is priced at $999.
