6 Supernatural-Themed Shows You Can Stream on Netflix

There's no shortage of TV shows you can browse on Netflix. Each genre has a lot of titles you can watch, and if you're particularly fond of shows that have a supernatural premise, here are a couple of TV series you might enjoy.

The show follows the story of Jack Morton trying to uncover the truth about a secret society called the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose within Belgrave University, in an attempt to know more about his mother's death and avenge her.

Upon joining the Order, he discovers that there's so much about the world that he does not know about such as the existence of werewolves, animated golems, and more. He gets to practice magic as he becomes a member while discovering more about his parentage.

2. 'Warrior Nun'

Ava has lived her life as a quadriplegic teen orphan before she died. Upon waking up, she discovers that not only can she walk, but she has been sucked into a world of combat-trained nuns and mythologies that are actually real.

Ava becomes the Halo-bearer as the nuns attempt to hide an angel's halo from those who want to take it. Little did they know that it would have the ability to heal a disability, much less that it is capable of resurrecting a dead person.

3. 'The Sandman'

Also a Netflix original, the show is an adaptation of a book written by Neil Gaiman of the same title. The Sandman is the personification of Dreams, who has siblings that also represent other aspects of life like Death and Destiny.

Dream, which he is also referred to, got himself into a tight situation after being captured by a human obsessed with their existence. If it helps the man who captured him called Roderick Burgess, is also the actor who played Tywin Lannister, Charles Dance.

4. 'Sense8'

After all eight affected people shared a vision, they found themselves connected to each other in more ways than one. Other than thoughts, the skills of the other seven have been adopted by one and vice versa. That means that if one of them knows how to fight, then everyone does as well.

Things get more interesting as an organization hunts them down, which makes it difficult for the eight to get to the bottom of how they were connected in the first place. Sadly, the show was canceled because filming in separate places became too costly, but it's still worth the watch.

5. 'Fate: The Winx Saga'

If you grew up watching the "Winx Club," then you'll have no trouble following this show. It revolves around the same characters from the animated series such as Bloom, Sky, Musa, Aisha, Flora, Stella, and other fairies.

However, unlike the animated series, the show is more fitted for mature audiences. There are dark scenarios such as Bloom not being able to control her fire powers, and there are also the complicated human relations similar to that of a fictional high school.

6. 'Lucifer'

The show was also created by the famous author Neil Gaiman. It follows the story of Lucifer Morningstar, the devil that is mentioned in Christian mythology. Tired of his role in hell, he flies out and takes residence on Earth, specifically in Los Angeles.

The show gives an interesting twist to the image of the devil that has been known for years. Instead of being the evil incarnate who urges people to do terrible things, he explains that he's merely the punisher and that people themselves are responsible for their actions.
