Netflix Invests in More Sports Documentaries

Netflix is home to the finest sports documentary series such as "Quarterback", "Tour de France: Unchained", "Break Point", and more. Currently, the platform is already working on a series that will follow athletes from track and field, soccer, rugby, and NASCAR.

With only five races left for the 2023 season, "Formula 1: Drive to Survive" is already producing its sixth season as the sport grows in popularity in the U.S. Prior to the series, Formula 1 was only popular amongst Europeans but the series has proven to be effective to bring the hype in the U.S. as well as to other countries. Meanwhile, "Full Swing" is already at the end of filming its second season.

"New and diverse audiences have come to know more about both our sports and their athletes through "Full Swing" and "Drive to Survive", and we are excited to team up with Netflix, Formula 1, and the Las Vegas Grand Prix on this exciting concept," PGA Tour's SVP for media and Gaming Norb Gambuzza shared.
