With the AI hype among tech companies still going strong, Adobe is releasing more AI-powered features for its products. The media editing giant is adding more tools that will make it easier to use both Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024

Powered by the company's Sensei AI platform, there are new features that streamline the editing process with the help of artificial intelligence. Photoshop now has built-in presets that help users match color and tone for a photo.

From a vibrant-colored image, users can choose from Photoshop's provided formats or use a photo of their own where the effect will be based on. They can then fine-tune other elements like the hue, saturation, and brightness of the image.

Those who often share reels on social media can use Photoshop's Photo Reels to add text, effects, and graphics to the images, and save them as MP4s or GIFs so they can be shared in various social media platforms while retaining all the added elements and effects.

This new feature pairs well with the new additions that Adobe has provided such as modern fonts, icons, buttons, and colors that a user can use. There is now an option for software color as well such as light mode and dark mode options.

Adobe is also making it easier for users to change the background of a photo. With the new AI, the software can automatically select the background with just one click and users can choose to either enhance, remove, or replace the selected area in the photo.

One-click edits don't just apply to backgrounds. It is also an option for other editing options like blurring the background, smoothing the skin of the subject, dehazing or colorizing the photo, and more. JPEG artifacts can even be removed to better manage the file type.

With the new Artistic Effects, users won't have to go through so much process to make an image look like famous artworks or appear in classic art styles. All that needs to be done is to click the effect that they want applied.

Adobe Premiere Elements 2024

Just as users can in Photoshop, built-in presets or photos and videos can be used to fine-tune media and adjust hue, saturation, and brightness. With the automation through AI, the software will focus on motion, close-ups, and the highest-quality footage.

The new audio effects match current trends with short-form video and audio editing such as Reverb, Vocal Enhancer, and DeHummer. If the methods get too complicated, Adobe offers tutorials that help with the process.

Guided Edits lets users acquire the skills needed to use the new features as they can choose from 26 options for videos. They can just follow the instructions for activities like quick fixes, creative effects, transitions, and animations.

Premiere also offers one-click edits that use AI automation to improve the media's tone, white balance, and more, as well as remove backgrounds if they choose. There are even patterns and overlays that can be used to frame the subject in the photo or video.
