The Sims 4 is getting a new expansion pack called For Rent, which will give the players a chance to manage properties and live in a residential rental community.

The Sims 4: For Rent Expansion Pack
Available by December 7, the new expansion pack opens the world of Tomarang wherein players are allowed to be property owners or tenants. Using the expansion pack, players can create dwellings, townhomes, duplexes, and apartments that they can manage themselves.
"From basement suites to duplexes, Sims can discover drama right at their doorstep as they will have ample opportunity to discover each other's secrets by eavesdropping, snooping or even breaking and entering," EA announced. Moreover, the Sims team promised an immersive and in-depth exploration of the complex Sim's relationships and personalities.
Tomarang is a Southeast Asian-inspired world where Simmers can explore and express their individuality. The Sims team collaborated with the Asian-American rapper Jason Chu to perfectly reflect what a Southeast Asian culture is in the game.
What to Expect in For Rent
Like the other Sims worlds, Tomarang offers a variety of sceneries that players can explore. For instance, there are botanical gardens, an animal sanctuary, and a spirit house. Child Sims can also play popular Southeast Asian games like Hopscotch and Marbles.
Meanwhile, adults can stroll in the Night Market and enjoy exclusive delicacies such as Khao Niao Mamuang, Tofu Pad Thai, Pancit Bihon, Burmese Samosa Soup, and Banh Cuon. There are also desserts such as Halo-Halo and Thai Iced Milk Tea.
The For Rent expansion pack marked the first chance for Simmers to fully customize a multi-unit dwelling where multiple Sim families can live on the same lot. According to EA, this has been a highly requested feature by the players. However, EA warned that property managers have their own set of responsibilities so players should be ready for that. New aspirations are waiting for the Sims once they decide to be a property manager.
Players can now preorder the For Rent Expansion Pack which is available across various platforms on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Meanwhile, gamers who will purchase the pack from November 2 to January 18 will have access to the Street Eats Digital Content which will allow players to have a grill cart at the night market.
