Nokia Lumia 1320 UK launch imminent – Company’s UK website says ‘coming soon’

The large-screen Nokia Lumia 1320 seems ready to make its UK debut shortly, as the company now lists the phablet as "coming soon" on its UK site.

The Lumia 1320 is the very first phablet to run Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 (WP8), and it's also the first phablet from Nokia. The device sports a massive 6-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and runs the latest version of Windows Phone (GDR3), which allows for larger screens and more powerful hardware.

Under the hood, the supersized WP8 smartphone packs a quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.7GHz and coupled with Adreno 305 graphics and 1GB of RAM. Other specs include 8GB of internal storage capacity, a microSD card slot for up to 64GB of additional memory, and a 3,400 mAh battery. The Lumia 1320 also comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with full HD video recording capabilities, as well as a VGA front shooter for video chats or self shots. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0.

The Nokia Lumia 1320 is not the highest-end phablet out there, but it has stirred plenty of interest so far among Nokia and Windows Phone fans. The device is expected to expand its availability shortly, and the UK seems to be next on the list.

As previously mentioned, Nokia is already showing the Lumia 1320 on its UK website, but the company has yet to offer an exact release date or pricing details for the device in the country. However, Nokia does allow interested customers to register their interest and receive updates regarding the Lumia 1320's pricing and availability in the UK.

We'll keep an eye out for the launch and make sure to keep you up to date as soon as more details become available. In the meantime, if you would like to receive more updates on the Nokia Lumia 1320 UK pricing and availability, register your interest on Nokia's UK website at this link. Registering your interest does not count as a pre-order or any kind of commitment, so you wouldn't have to pay anything.
