New Pokemon GO Event Allows Players to Get Master Ball, Generation 9 Creatures

Niantic announced a new Pokemon GO event which will give players an opportunity to get the elusive Master Ball and catch Generation 9 creature from Paldea, starting November 22.

Pokemon Go Event Complete Details

The new event called "Party Up" is part of the commemoration of Pokemon GO Season 12, Adventure Abound, which is open until December 1. The promotional event is aimed to highlight the Party Play feature.

Moreover, the event will feature a Special Research story wherein players can receive a Master Ball. It will also be available for players who missed the Timed Investigation in Season 12 at a cost.

While the whole commemoration is open until December 1, the Party Up promo will only be available until November 27.

Catch the Generation 9 Pokemon During the Event

In addition, the event also opens an opportunity for players to catch Gen 9 Pokemon. Niantic revealed that many of them will be given higher spawn rates such as Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Nymble.

Both Lechonk and Nymble can be spotted in the wild during the event, as well as Smolive, Tadbulb, and Pawmi the Pikachu clone. Gamers will also enjoy 11 time-limited raids featuring the Paldea native creature, Bombirdier.

During the event, raid battles will give double XP while trading Pokemon will offer two additional Candies. Trainers who are level 31 and above are guaranteed to receive Candy XL as trade rewards. The Special Trade limit will also increase to five up until the end of the event.

For the upcoming Pokemon GO Season 13, Niantic is already planning at least ten events that will run in early December, the first half of February, and four Community Days.
