Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Online announced that the wildlife feature is finally coming to the game in this December update.

GTA Online Fans' Long Wait for Animal Feature
For years many fans have been questioning the the lack of animals in GTA Online. Previously, characters could turn into an animal using Peyote Plants. On the other hand, GTA 5 was the first installment that introduced wildlife in the franchise.
Fans have been waiting long enough for Rockstar Games to add the feature. X user Synth Potato even said that he "never thought the day would come," as it had been 10 years already since the fans requested it.
However, the animal feature for GTA Online will be available only for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar also announced that additional improvements will be given for players on the latest consoles.
GTA Online Welcomes Holiday Season
The winter update will also include a new mission type called Vehicle Robberies, where players will work for the GTA 5: The Ballad of Gay Tony character Yusuf Amir and steal in-demand imported vehicles. Before unlocking the mission, players must purchase Red's Auto Parts, a salvage yard.
On the other hand, Drift Races are also introduced where drivers can test their skills in new circuits. They can visit the LS Car Meet to get various offers of vehicles and drift tuning mods that will boost their experience in Freemode.
The winter update also includes access to The Vinewood Club Garage, a new vehicle storage location that can hold up to 100 vehicles, for GTA+ members. Other updates will be rolled out as well such as new music, holiday-themed modes, and more.
