'Stranger Things'

Set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, "Stranger Things" became a hit series due to its horrifying yet nostalgic type of storytelling. The story follows the story of Will Byers and the supernatural Eleven, together with their group they discover the dark world that mirrors the town of Hawkins. 

The series was praised for its homage to the movies, books, and pop culture during the 80s. The show also took inspiration from the works of Stephen King, Steven Spielberg, and others. The show is currently one of Netflix's most popular original series and has recently concluded its fourth season. 

'The Witcher'

Based on "The Witcher" book series by Andrzej Sapkowski, the TV series follows the story of Geralt of Rivia known as the Witcher. The viewers will embark on a journey with Geralt as he tries to find his Child of Surprise, Ciri. Over the seasons, the viewers will get to see how Geralt, Ciri, and Yenneffer of Vengerberg will deal with challenges.

'Lucifer'

"True Blood" tackles various problems such as discrimination, acceptance, and the fight for equal rights. The show was able to mirror real-world issues with a twist of supernatural narrative. The show is considered to be one of the most popular vampire shows in the late 2000s. 

'The Haunting of Hill House'

The series is considered the modern adaptation of the 1959 novel by Shirley Jackson under the same title. "The Haunting of Hill House" follows the story of the Crain family as they move into the mansion, wherein they start to experience supernatural events. 

The show was applauded for its dual timelines, switching between the Crain family in the past and the present. The non-linear timeline of the show ties to the long-lasting impact of their time in the Hill House.
