Baldur's Gate 3 is a classic role-playing video game that was initially announced by Larian Studios in 2019. The game finally hit PC and PlayStation in 2023.

Divinity: Original Sin 2

Released also by Larian Studios in 2017, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is the second installment of the game series. The game is set in the fantasy world of Rivellon wherein players become the Sourcerer. 

During the game, you can customize your characters ranging from humans, elves, dwarves, and more. The game also supports up to four-player cooperative gameplay making it more engaging to play. Rivellon is highly interactive you can easily take advantage of the terrain.

Developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Paradox Interactive in 2016, Tyranny welcomes you to the fantasy world of Terratus. Players will embark on the journey as the Fatebinder, who is a high-ranking officer in the army of the evil overload Kyros. 

At the start of the game, you will go through the Conquest Mode which will determine the state of the world and the relationship between factions in the game. The game lies heavily on your decision-making and how you will face the consequences. 

Pillars of Eternity

Pillars of Eternity was also developed under Obsidian Entertainment and published by Paradox Interactive in 2015. The game is set in the world of Eora wherein people from Aedyr populate the area. As a player, you will take on the role of the Watcher. 

The game is widely popular due to its branching storyline. Gamers are bound to make wise decisions to ensure the gameplay that they want. The game also uses a soul-based system which allows the Watcher to interact with souls and memories, making it an integral part of the game. 

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition

Neverwinter Nights is a classic RPG originally by Bioware and Atari which is also based on the Dungeons & Dragons universe using the third edition ruleset. The game was enhanced by Beamdog in 2018 and has been able to provide expansions and enhanced graphics to the game. 

Stemming from the original storyline, the Enhance Edition includes the Dungeon Master Client which allows players to run their custom campaigns and take on the role of the Master. There are also a bunch of DLC and expansions for the game making it a full-blown experience.

Another Dungeon & Dragons universe-based game, Icewind Dale was created in 2000 by Black Isle Studios and Interplay Entertainment. The game also received an enhanced edition in 2014 by Beamdog.

Also set in the Forgotten Realms, players will embark on an epic adventure as they try to discover what lies beneath the mysterious crystal shard. It is important to learn tactical decisions during battles in this game.
