Who are the Sidemen?

The Sidemen is composed of seven British YouTubers and influencers: KSI, Miniminter, Zerkaa, TBJZL, Behzinga, Vikkstar123, and W2S.

If you have been around in the YouTuber scene from 2017 to 2019, you might be familiar with KSI (Olajide Olayinka Williams) and W2S (Harry Lewis).

Williams is a popular internet celebrity among US teens for his music, reaction videos, and boxing career. Lewis is more known for playing FIFA games.

The group has existed since 2013 but has gained more followers as each member also rose in stardom. The channel releases vlogs and updates from groups on top of their posts on their channels, each boasting millions of subscribers.

Why are the Sidemen so Popular?

The question remains, however, as to how the group became more known.

There are multiple answers as to how the group became a sensation among the youth today, at least that's what their fans think.

Of course, the celebrity status of the members propelled the channel to a combined fanbase eager to see the latest happening of their favorite influencers.

Otherwise, there is also the overall entertainment value the group provides to their audience.

Unlike other influencers that formed a group just to further increase their popularity, the group is more focused on providing an interactive and enjoyable experience to viewers rather than fulfilling a quota.

People can jump onto any video of theirs and can easily join the welcoming fanbase without needing much "lore" to fill them up on what's happening.

Of course, there the multiple charity causes the group launched. Each has garnered lots of money as other YouTube and Twitch stars join in to promote the event.

In turn, making the status of the seven-man group more known to other communities too.
