‘Bridgerton’ Sets 2024 Comeback With Third Season

Netflix's hit series "Bridgerton" is finally arriving with its third season part one on May 16 and part two on June 13, 2024.

'Bridgerton' Season 3 Plot 

According to the Shondaland website, the long-awaited season will be a thrilling ride of love, betrayal, friendship, and honor. Moreover, fans of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton will have so much to look forward to in the third season. 

"Season three finds Penelope finally giving up on her long-held crush on Colin," the Shondaland page teased. After the second season, Penelope is now ready to get a husband who is capable of giving her freedom and independence. On the other hand, Colin will be returning from his summer travels and will be met with an indifferent Penelope. 

Meanwhile, the relationship between Penelope and Eloise is still on the rocks with the latter finding a new friend in an unlikely place. Moreover, Penelope will also have some difficulty in keeping her alter ego Lady Whistledown as she gets herself into the marriage market. 

'Bridgerton' Season 3 Surprises 

Fans will still see some of their beloved characters such as Kate Sharma, Anthony Bridgerton, and more, as they also return for the third season. Meanwhile, the new season welcomed Jess Brownell as the new showrunner until season four. 

Brownell was previously part of the "Bridgerton" writing team for the first two seasons. She was also credited for writing on other Shondaland hits like "Scandal" and "Inventing Anna." 

The third season also welcomes fresh faces on the series such as Hannah Dodd, who will be replacing Ruby Stokes, as Francesca Bridgerton. Other actors such as Daniel Francis, Sam Philipps, and James Phoon will also bless the season.
