Twitter Down: Elon Musk's X Suffers Another Outage, Only Says 'Welcome to Your Timeline'

Social media X (formerly Twitter) experienced another system outage early Thursday morning with the whole feed only saying "Welcome to Your Timeline."

The hashtags "#XDown" and "#TwitterDown" took over the platform again. Only this time, no one can see each other's posts as the Following and For You tabs do not display any posts.

Instead, users reported X displaying the account suggestions seen in newly made accounts.

Social Media Users Cast Doubt on X Capacity

The problem has already been resolved over 30 minutes after it was first reported.

However, many users are still dissatisfied with the increasing incidents of X breaking or suffering a total system outage.

More than 47,000 US users have been affected by the recent system break, according to Downdetector data.

The outage comes a week after the platform's link system broke again, making all outgoing links unusable.

Reason for X Going Down Again

X owner Elon Musk has yet to respond to the recent cases of system outages on the site.

However, many users point out the mass layoffs the billionaire did to the company as the main cause of the problem.

Many of the software engineers and technicians Musk received have already working in the company since its inception.

The number of errors and system breaks have been reported to increase since Musk took over the site in October last year.

Despite criticisms, the billionaire recently shared a posting claiming that the site has more traffic now than it did a year ago when it was still Twitter.

Musk even compared X to Instagram by posting a line graph with his platform clearly on the lead for the past few months.

No sources were included in the post to see the breakdown of the numbers and supposed high traffic on the site.
