The mobile version has been available on Android devices for nearly a week and has just now been noticed.

X (formerly Twitter) user @techosaurusrex first spotted the app version of Copilot on Play Store.

The arrival of Copilot on Android devices marks the period of Microsoft competing with rival AI developers on mobile platforms.

Since it is connected to the internet and Microsoft's dedicated AI servers, Copilot is capable of providing up-to-date answers to almost all user inquiries.

Copilot is also able to generate music, from rhythms to sounds, with just a few prompts.

The app's mobile version appears simple and easy to use without much clutter or distractions.

Copilot first launched in February 2023 after Microsoft rebranded Bing Chat, a built-in chatbot for Microsoft Bing and Edge.

Microsoft Continues with Releasing AI Chatbots on All Platforms

The arrival of Copilot on Play Store is only Microsoft's latest effort to further spread its AI services across its platforms.

Copilot was introduced on Windows 10 devices a few months back. Last November, the tech giant also opened the AI chatbot into Microsoft 365's Office apps as an automated assistant.

Copilot is expected to help users navigate, manage, and access all Microsoft products much easier by integrating the AI chatbot into its most-used services.

It is uncertain if Microsoft will soon release a version of Copilot on iOS devices as well.
