Samsung Upgrades Home Robot Ballie With AI Tools at CES 2024

Samsung brought back its home robot Ballie from CES 2020 with the device now built with impressive AI features. The announcement was part of Samsung's keynote at the CES 2024 in Las Vegas.

Samsung's Home Robot Ballie is Perfect AI Smart Home Companion

Samsung introduced the comeback of Ballie as the "perfect AI smart home companion" that can be trusted to accomplish household tasks, remind you of events, and share weather updates. According to the company, Balliw was revamped with advanced features to be more efficient in helping users at home. 

The home robot will act as a personal home assistant that can autonomously drive around the house and complete different tasks. Users can connect Ballie to home appliances, allowing the robot to navigate them through commands. 

"Ballie can provide a helping hand to users in many situations - continually learning from users' patterns and habits to provide smarter, more personalized services," Samsung announced. 

Samsung Ballie Boosts Productivity for Home, Work Tasks 

In a demonstration video, Samsung revealed how the new and improved Ballie will work. One of the most notable features is that the AI robot can converse with the user through text and voice commands. 

Once connected to other smart appliances, users can command Ballie to send updates of pets or loved ones at their homes even if they are away. The home robot can also feed the pets through a prompt if they are connected to the device. 

Other features of Ballie include being a projector for conference calls, doing projects, and exercising. It can project on any surface from wall to floor in an optimal size, play music, and answer phone calls. 

As of writing, Samsung has yet to announce the price for the AI home robot and when will it be available for sale.
