The Sims 4 surprised fans with the upcoming release of the Crystal Creations Stuff pack, offering a new skill for simmers.
Previously, EA paused releasing stuff packs and has been investing in kits. The last stuff pack, Home Chef Hustle, debuted last September 2023.

The Sims 4 Brings Back Stuff Pack for Crystal Creations
Starting February 29, players can unlock a new Gemology skill that will allow Sims to collect colorful crystals and metals. The collection can be used to create customized creations that can affect the Sims' moods, relationships, and careers.
"From designing beloved treasures like hand-crafted engagement rings or custom jewelry to producing unique collectibles that can be sold for Simoleons, any Sim can cultivate their own style that will be seen by all," EA announced.
Players can find different varieties of crystals around The Sims 4 worlds like Emerald, Quartz, and more from the base game. Meanwhile, the Get to Work Expansion pack offers Nitelite and Crandestine.
The Jungle Adventure game pack offers Amazonite and rare Alexandrite, while Jade, Moonstone, and rare Amber are only available with the Crystal Creations Stuff pack.
How Crystal Creations Stuff Pack Works
According to EA, Sims can develop the Gemology skill by practicing at the gemology table. Like other skills, the quality of the output improves as the Sim's skill improves. The skill can also be boosted by reading a gemology book.
A Sim can create over 1,000 different bejeweled items which can be used to declare love, as a gift for a friend, or to be sold for Simoleons. There are also 22 metals around the world that can be used to craft the perfect gemstone.
The Sims 4 collaborated with Arethabee to develop the dreamy set that will be featured in the Create-A-Sim which includes a necklace, ring, and earrings.
The Crystal Creations Stuff pack will be introduced during the Gameplay Developer Walkthrough on February 28 while the pack will officially launch on all platforms by February 29.
